Dana joined Austin PT in August 2019. She worked in outpatient orthopedics for 4 years specializing in post-op management of the lower extremity as well as working with musculoskeletal pain complaints. She's certified in dry needling and believes that pain and injuries are unique to each individual. She enjoys helping to restore function in patients of all age ranges and background, and continues to expand her knowledge through continual education and consultation with other clinicians.
She has a BS degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Utah. She played basketball at Casper College where she received an AS in General Studies.
Dana is a native of Wyoming who recently relocated to Austin. She loves to be active and enjoys exercise, golf, paddle boarding, and hiking to name a few. She also loves really getting into a good book, or binge watching Grey’s Anatomy and crime shows. She's and avid traveler and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Frank is excited to join the Austin PT team. Frank received his BA from St. Edward's University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas State University. Prior to entering the field of health care, Frank spent twenty as a professional ballet dancer. Frank moved to Austin in 2000 to work as a principal dancer with Ballet Austin. During his years there, he had the opportunity to travel to Israel, Slovenia, Italy, and Puerto Rico, work with world renown artists, and explore the range of human expression through movement.
It is his love of movement and understanding the complex and beautiful relationship of life and movement that inspired him into physical therapy. In addition to his clinical doctorate, he also is a licenced massage therapist.
Frank take his years of knowledge to create a broad and holistic plan of care to address the needs of all of his clients.
